Novaliches High School Faculty Non-Teaching Personnel Club (NHS FNTP)
Newly Elected Officers
The Novaliches High School Faculty Non-Teaching Personnel Club (NHS FNTP)
recently conducted its election of officers as mandated by its
Constitution and By-Laws. The said teachers' organization aims to
safeguard the democratic and social well-being of its members through
collective efforts in protecting the rights of the teachers.

This year's election was chaired by Mrs. Evelyn Tomas, Teacher III
(First Year Level Adviser) together with Mrs. Carmen Parungao, Master
Teacher I and Mr. Jessie Payawal, Teacher II. The Elecom opened its
booth at exactly 8AM in the morning until 3PM Saturday, August 30th. Out
of 197 active members and officers of NHS FNTP Club, there were 156
teachers who have casted their votes (or almost 80% of voters turn-out).
In the progressive efforts of the organization to uplift the teachers'
over-all welfare, it was also the first time in NHS' history that many
teachers have finally casted their votes to be counted and be heard.
Congratulations to the newly elected NHS FNTP officers!!! Good luck and
more power!

Earthquake Drill (8/6/08) and August (Filipino Month)
Mr. Harold Landagan Batch 1987 (NHS Faculty) our website’s NHS Calendar
Manager wishes to share with everyone the following on-going activities
inside Novaliches High School.
Sir Harold wrote:
“I would like to inform all members of
NHSOC about the on-going activities taking place inside our alma mater.
Today, August 6th (Wednesday), NHS is scheduled to hold an Earthquake
Drill. This is an annual activity which aims to generate the highest
level of awareness about earthquake and preparedness program among our
students, school administrators and NHS staff. Earthquake drills and
exercises are an extremely important part of our school’s preparedness
plan as they teach everyone how to respond to the complications of an
actual earthquake. The Earthquake Drill is scheduled in two sessions –
morning session was successfully held at 12:00 Noon and the afternoon
session is scheduled later at 6PM.
Also, for this month of August Novaliches High School is celebrating
Filipino Month. I will just inform you all next time about the series of
activities scheduled in line with this exciting month-long celebration.
For now, have a great day everyone! Let’s keep the NHS torch burning in
our hearts!
Warmest Regards,
Sir Harold"
NHS JS Prom on Saturday, February 24, 2007

NHS Junior Senior Prom this Saturday 2/24/07
The Junior/Senior Prom is the most highly anticipated and well-attended
event on our high school lives, and this year will be no exception.
Mr. Gilore Ofrancia (NHS Guidance Counselor; ICT Coordinator; NHSOC
"Inside NHS" Forum Moderator) wishes to inform everyone that after a
two-year hiatus, Novaliches High School will be hosting once again the
Junior Senior Prom this coming Saturday at 4:30PM onwards.
Indeed, the prom is a time when juniors and seniors dress in formal wear
and all look many years older than they actually are. Still for some of
us as parents, we get a glimpse of what our children have become as they
enter adulthood. Indeed this event is fun-filled and exciting for
everyone who attends. And sure for many alumni, it brings back such
wonderful memories.
NHS On-line Community, wishes all our NHS Juniors and Seniors a very
memorable JS Prom!
