ALMA MATER SONG

Alma Mater naming hirang,

Sibol ka ng kabataan

Batis ka ng karunungan,

Dakila ka't mapagpala

At batikang manlilikha.

Kung kaya-ngumiti, magsaya

Nasa palad ang pag-asa.

Isipan at damdamin,

Maliwanag, maluningning.

Malayo man ang marating,

Tagumpay man o hilahil.

Sa iyo ay aming alay

Pusong tapat pati buhay,

Mataas na Paaralang Novaliches naming mahal.

Malayo man ang marating,

Tagumpay man o hilahil.

Sa iyo ay aming alay

Pusong tapat pati buhay,

Mataas na Paaralang Novaliches naming mahal.

PANATANG MAKABAYAN

Iniibig ko ang Pilipinas.

Ito ang lupa kong sinilangan.

Ito ang tahanan ng aking lahi.

Ako'y kanyang kinukupkop at tinutulungan.

Upang maging malakas, maligaya at kapakipakibang.

LUPANG HINIRANG

Lupa ng araw, ng luwalhati't pagsinta, Buhay ay langit sa piling mo;

Aming ligaya, na 'pag may mang-aapi, Ang mamatay nang dahil sa 'yo.

nhsoc is stepping up to the plate to help build nhs future!

NHSOC 1ST Anniversary Reunion 2005
Novaliches High School has long been proud of its mission to prepare students with the character and skills needed to be productive members of today’s society. Therefore, it's difficult to overemphasize the impact and importance of this educational opportunity. While this can be said of most high school experiences, there’s something truly inspiring about our alma mater. Our high  school is made of more than just bricks and mortar - simply taking a tour of our on-line community one can truly sense the commitment, respect, expertise, and dedication of the NHS community at large.

Importance of Giving
The sad fact that the expense in providing such individualized, structured, and specialized education is often a foreign concept sadly to many public schools and cannot be covered by government funding alone. Fundraising is one way in which NHS alumni bridges the gap between government support and operating/capital expenses. It is clear that the generosity of those who care so much about NHS has had a major impact on our school, the faculty and its current students.

On Tap for 2006... NHS eLibray NEEDS OUR HELP!!!
Whatever your affiliation with NHS (alumni, parent, grandparent, past & present students even friends), we hope that you will please consider making a gift to our school’s eLibrary.

Novaliches High School’s  eLibrary Needs the following:
1. computers & CD writers
Ms. Dina Valenzuela (eLibrary in-charge) said, “At present there are only 2 computers functioning at NHS. Our enrolled students this year more or less is 7,000. NHS has a computer lab but only those students who are enrolled in the computer class are allowed to use it. Inside the library, all the students are given the opportunity to use the computers in allotted time to allow more students/researchers use in a day”
2. photocopying machines (To avoid students from tearing off pages from the limited collection of books and printed materials from magazines, local &international subscriptions, teacher journals, yearbooks, atlas, almanacs, thesaurus, and other reference materials available in the library”.
3. Air conditioning & electric fans
4. LCD TV and Projectors (for viewing educational CD-ROMs for class discussion)
5. Licensed Educational CD-ROMs: Encarta, CCP Encyclopedia (Philippines) and other educational CD-ROMs.
